- Do not skip meals

 

- Avoid Process foods eg. white breads, white pastas, doughnuts, fast foods, chips

 

- Eat food that is high in fibre eg. fresh fruits and vegetables, whlegrain, legumes, high fibre cereals

 

- Drink at least 8 cups of water a day

 

- Fish, chicken, turkey and leans meats, doesn't have fibre, but does not worsen constipation

 

- Snacks like popcorn, fruit bars and raisins are good

 

- Sprinke 1 or 2 teaspoons of bran flakes, flax seeds, weat bran over your food.
